The Family Resume is a great project to culminate a family unit as it asks students to apply the information and concepts learned to their own family. This family resume project has E-Learning written all over it, but can definitely be used in a traditional classroom as well!
With more time on my hands due to COVID-19, I find myself in the kitchen more frequently, experimenting with new recipes. Inspired by something a friend sent me, I decided to give gardenscape bread art a try. Whoever said bread has to be boring never tried this form of art! If you like your students to be creative and engaged, I’ve got just the lesson, activity and recipe for you! I am assigning this to my students as an enrichment E-Learning activity, but when I’m back in the classroom, you can bet gardenscape bread art will be part of my foods class as a creative lab!
Ways Children Learn is part of my child development curriculum when teaching about intellectual development. This lesson can be taught in a traditional classroom setting or it can be shared as an E-learning self-directed assignment. Basically, students are taught the four basic ways children learn with examples and then are asked to create their own grid of examples, showing they understand the conepts.
