Objective

• Identify the 8 stages of development and evaluate people to determine their stages of development.
  

 Instruction

• Psychosocial development theory lecture featuring the work of Erik Erikson via PowerPoint.

Activities

• Journal Entry: Reflect on your life and the different stages of development. Describe they stage you are currently in as well as success and failures from previous stages that might effect who you are today. Give examples that justify your success/failure for each stage.

Extensions

• If you have a preschool or birth- 3 program have your students identify the stage of development of each of the children.
